A Set of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam That Changed My Life
“One day, I casually visited my father’s office. While looking around, I noticed a set of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam kept there. Out of curiosity, I picked it up and started reading. As I continued reading, I became increasingly attracted to the wisdom and teachings within those pages. What started as a simple curiosity became a regular habit. I continued reading the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam for several days, and gradually, it began transforming my life. Inspired by the teachings, I naturally started chanting the Hare Krishna mahā-mantra on my own. Slowly and steadily, I progressed until I was chanting 12 rounds daily. Later, I met a devotee from the Hare Krishna movement who guided and inspired me to deepen my spiritual journey by joining the FOLK residency. Today, I am staying in the FOLK residency and chanting 16 rounds daily. This journey reminded me of the incredible power of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s books. A book placed somewhere can become the beginning of someone’s spiritual journey. We never know when or where Krishna’s mercy will enter someone’s life through transcendental literature.”
