My Book Marathon Journey
I first came in touch with the Hare Krishna movement by reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. Later, I met a devotee distributing books near Airoli railway station, who invited me to the Sunday programs. Through the association of devotees, I gradually became involved in various services, yatras & later shifted to folk. During my first Book Marathon in 2022, I felt especially inspired because when you experience the wisdom of Srila Prabhupada’s books, you naturally want to share them with others. I even visited some of Mumbai’s luxury hotels, Markets I had never imagined going to, with the hope of finding people who would sponsor books and help us distribute more. By Krishna’s mercy, Airoli folk secured the first rank in book distribution that year. This experience taught me a beautiful lesson: When there is a sincere desire to serve Guru, Krishna opens the way. 🙏
