Śrīla Prabhupāda Made the Arrangement
During book distribution at Trimbakeshwar, we had originally planned a three-day program. But by Kṛṣṇa’s mercy, the response was so encouraging that we decided to extend the distribution for another three days. Very soon, we realized that we urgently needed more Marathi Bhagavad-gītās. We contacted ISKCON Nashik, but the Temple Commander told us that arranging the books so early would be very difficult and that the cartons would probably be ready only after 1:00 PM. Still, another devotee and I left Trimbakeshwar early in the morning and reached ISKCON Nashik at around 7:30 AM, hoping that somehow the books might be arranged sooner. To our complete surprise, all the cartons of Bhagavad-gītās were already packed and ready for us. Later, we were told something that deeply touched our hearts. The devotee in charge of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust said that at around 2:00 AM, Śrīla Prabhupāda had appeared in his dream, standing with a stick and firmly telling him, “Wake up! Why are you sleeping? Two devotees are coming to collect Bhagavad-gītā books. Get up immediately and prepare the cartons!” Hearing this was overwhelming. I felt that Śrīla Prabhupāda was personally concerned that his books should reach the people waiting to receive them. What had seemed difficult or almost impossible had already been arranged before we even arrived. This experience strengthened my faith, gratitude, and attachment to Śrīla Prabhupāda’s book distribution mission. It reminded me that when we sincerely try to serve, arrangements can unfold far beyond what we could ever plan ourselves.
